1. Definitions
- Customer / You: The person or legal entity placing an order through the Service.
- LaundrySwift: LaundrySwift B.V., a company incorporated in the Netherlands.
- Service: The collection, cleaning, and delivery of laundry as selected by the Customer via our platform.
- Order: A request made by the customer for services through the Platform.
- Platform: The website and/or mobile application used to access the Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding contracts to use the Service.
3. Registration & Account
3.1 You must register and create an account to place Orders.
3.2 You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information;
- Maintain the security of your password;
- Notify us of any unauthorized use of your account.
LaundrySwift is not responsible for losses due to unauthorized account activity unless caused by our breach.
4. Ordering & Service Process
4.1 Placing an Order:
Customers select desired services, schedule pickup/delivery times, and submit an Order via the Platform.
4.2 Acceptance:
Orders are subject to confirmation. We may refuse, cancel, or modify Orders at our discretion.
4.3 Collection & Delivery:
We will collect and deliver laundry at the times and locations agreed upon. Customers must ensure accessibility.
4.4 Service Limitations:
We do not guarantee specific cleaning results. We handle items with reasonable care but cannot guarantee restoration of pre-existing damage.
5. Pricing & Payment
5.1 Prices for Services are displayed on the Platform and may be updated.
5.2 Payment is processed via Stripe (Credit/Debit Card) or Klarna.
5.3 You authorize us to charge your selected payment method when your Order is accepted.
5.4 All prices are in Euros (EUR) and inclusive of applicable VAT unless stated otherwise.
6. Order Tracking & Status
Customers may view Order status and history through their account. Tracking is provided for convenience and may not reflect real-time operational conditions.
7. Cancellation & Changes
7.1 You may cancel or change an Order through the Platform up to the cutoff time indicated at checkout.
7.2 After that cutoff, changes or cancellations may be refused and additional fees may apply.
8. Returns, Damage & Loss
8.1 You must inspect delivered items promptly.
8.2 Damage or loss:
Report any issues within 48 hours of delivery via our support channels.
8.3 We may request proof of damage/loss and will assess claims case-by-case. Our liability for damage or loss of items is limited to the reasonable market value of the item, except where stricter liability applies under Dutch law.
9. Customer Obligations
You agree:
- Not to submit items that violate laws or pose safety risks.
- To follow any specific care instructions for garments (where provided).
- Not to use the Service for unlawful purposes.
10. Data Protection & Privacy
We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your data in compliance with the GDPR and Dutch law. Please review it carefully before using the Service.
11. Intellectual Property
All content on the Platform, including trademarks, text, graphics, and logos, are owned or licensed by LaundrySwift. You may not use our intellectual property without prior written consent.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- LaundrySwift is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
- Our total liability for any claim arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the relevant Order.
13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Dutch law. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in the Netherlands.
14. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms. We will notify you of significant changes via the Platform or email. Continued use after changes signifies acceptance.
